Hello everyone! As you might know, we have been raising non-descript indigenous cows at our farm in Vikramasingapuram, Tirunelveli district since 2019. We now have 30 cows in our farm. Happy World Environment Day! Freshest Sendhooram and Banganapalli mangoes harvested this morning from Blooming farms now available on our online store. Sweet, juicy and plump mangoes that were harvested just after it started turning yellow so it reaches you in the right stage. Let it ripen for a couple of days in the cardboard box along with hay and you will be able to relish pesticide free, toxin free naturally ripened mangoes that you can enjoy without guilt. #organicmangoes #sendhoorammangoes #banganapalli #singleorigin #pesticidefree We have started Brand transition to VaanaVizha. This interview is From a recent drone photography For Vaanavil Farm Stay. Living in a small town has made us realise the importance of old school ways of sales rather than relying on just new age social media. Especially with fresh fruit, vegetables, mushrooms, Sudhakar carries them in crates and goes around the streets in the electric bike and sometimes on TVS DL. Whey protein concentrates and isolates are processed foods. They aren't whole foods. We have had a very good fruiting season of Naarthangai this year. The pulippu rasam with Naarthangai tastes better than lemon rasam according to @bhuvanatis . Naarthangais (Citrons) are available in the store, if you are planning to pickle or make rasam with it. The debutante star gooseberry pickle is slowly picking up steam. Palmyra Sprouts are a local delicacy during Pongal. We preserve them through the flour we have been making every year. Some of y’all also get Palmyra Sprouts from us during the Jan to March season. We are rebranding from Vivasayee's Life to VaanaVizha. And you will be encountering these symbols over the next few months in addition to Vivasayee's Life. We are a small brand and we detest wastage : so an overnight transition is not possible. Vettiver is one of my favourite herbs growing in the farm. The aroma of the root is so beautiful and earthy, that one can never have enough. We have been adding to our bath powder and hairwash powder for years now. But we never had abundance. We started cultivating in pipes last year. The ease of harvest and productivity both improved.
